DolceVera

The DolceVera farm and the vineyards are located in the town of Villa, on the hills of the Valpolicella Classica in the northeast of the municipality of Negrar.

We are in an area highly suitable for the production of red wine of Valpolicella, and at Villa "the nectar of the gods" acquires an even more important expression, because wines of great longevity and austerity are produced here, such as Amarone.

The peculiarity of the microclimate on these hills is optimal for the cultivation of the vine, because the sun exposure is on the west and the altitude varies from 200 to 300 m a.s.l. characteristics that ensure a clear heterogeneous crop.

Cellar

The winery, built on a hill, overlooks the valley and faces a beautiful view of the harmonious rows of vineyards that in summer give the evocative image of a green and quiet sea.

Mount Masua, in the town of Jago on the border with Villa, is a natural frame for this enchanting picture, and allows a continuous play of light and shadows on the valley.

In this idyllic place, I started to get excited and love something that up until that moment I had been ignoring: my origins in Villa of Negrar, in the heart of the classic Valpolicella.
On the land where I learned to walk and on the soil that softened my falls, I founded my farm at the age of 25.

Why DolceVera?

The DolceVera dream was born at a meeting.
The year when I decided to start the farm, my father met a nun. A seemingly casual circumstance transformed a friendship like many, in a relationship based on the shared concept that our land is like a common home that must be protected and cultivated with care. No one would believe how, in such a short time, any person could become a source of inspiration and motivation for the growth of each of us.

Dolce

is indirectly dedicated to my father, because a simple handshake has become a strong bond and a deep friendship, like the roots of a vine.

Vera

is her. A nun, whose name reflects her personality, and thanks to this gift, she has become an important figure for my father and for the whole family.

The passion for the land, then, has pushed my father and me to choose to continue along this path and with mutual help. we are collecting the fruits of our work and achieving in small steps the objectives of our company.

The DolceVera wine is a way to show how thankful I am for the opportunity that was given to me and for the support I received to accomplish what is my dream today.
It is also a way to thank for the values that have been transmitted to me and which I would like to share with the ones who will choose to taste the DolceVera wine.

On the label of my wine you will read:

Faith

which like the vine, must be nurtured every day

transmitted by my father, who led me to love this land

which binds us to the hard roots of a territory, found in a glass of wine

My dream matures with my grapes and fills my heart with joy every morning when I look over these fields of ever-changing colors.
